Intermittent wipers not always working

Hi, I've found that windscreen wipers often don't work on the various intermittent settings. They'll wipe the once and then stop. Has anyone had similar issues?

Are you sure its not because you have rain sensitive wipers and maybe the setting is too high on the stalk?

As what Big Al has mentioned, I have rain sensitive wipers. If you move the switch, it doesn't make the wipers move faster but just increases/decreases the sensitivity to the rain. lower settings wont pick up on a light drizzle so often. I find middle is the best position for day to day.

Yeah, my intermittent wipers only work intermittently too If they worked all the time, would that be classed as a fault? I'll get me coat.....
