An update, but not a good one. Timing has been checked following belt change, and was found to be spot on. Had the egr renewed with a genuine one, but the fault is exactly the same ! The place that fitted the egr suggest getting live vcds data once the fault is happening for the next move.
One thing i have noticed is that it seems to be regenerating often. Could a blocked or restricted dpf be causing the difficult warm / hot starting, but fine from cold ? The last couple of times i've noticed a slight unevenness when its regening whilst idling which i've not noticed before. Any recommendations for somewhere that would sort this appreciated.
