Interior Lights Question

Hi guys,
looking for some advice re: the above, Overhead cab lights work fine with unlock, also when any of the doors are opened, however lights above rear and sliding doors don't come on with door operation, neither does sliding door step light. Are there any easy ways of checking things out before I put it into the hands of an electrician? At present I've not opened or fiddled with anything other than "On" "Door operation" "Off" settings on the actual lights. Cheers

They should all activate/deactivate together and there is no way of disabling the step light with any of the switches so sounds like you have an issue with the wiring, can’t be a power supply issue as fuse covers all interior lights plus some rear external lights so you would know of that had blown
If the vehicle has not been played around with too much electrically then take it back to VW to sort it under warranty
