Info On Camp Sites.

The 2 big clubs in UK are:
Camping and Caravan Club
Caravan and Motorhome Club
Both seem much the same to me.

The 2 websites we have used are:
Ukcampsite.co.uk
pitchup.com

pitchup was good for European sites.

coolcamping.com is good too.

Also take a look at the ACSI app, which you have to pay for, but it’s only pennies. It allows you to filter & search around you on a live map. We use it all the time, especially abroad. The ACSI card is well worth the £13 quid or so, especially if you camp out of high season.

...also park4night app.

Basically loads of pubs etc allow you to stay for the price of a drink or meal. Some even have facilities.

as already said...
CAMC are great - prices can mount up for several nights but the sites are all great.
Rules re pitching can seem a bit anal ..but I guess it works.
Never come across a site with a bad WC block which keeps the boss happy!
And 95% of people all seem to like a good drink judging by recycling bins!!
The smaller club sites are also great value and more seem to be installing EHU.

Pitchup for UK and ACSI for Europe.

A great tip for Toll roads in France is the Sanef toggle for windscreen - allows you to sail through the Toll Gates without stopping
to pay. You set up a bank card linked to account and pay the bill when back in UK.
