Increasing tyre profile

I am running 255 20" 35 profile on front and 275 on rear with air suspension.

I'm thinking of 40 profile. Are their significant benefits? Much appreciated

If you keep the width the same, you will gain 5% of that width in sidewall.

I'm lowered 105mm and have 255/40/20 101 all round on 9X20 ET 42, 15mm rear spacer so ET 27 and it rubs slightly on full lock even with the usual arch mods.

Air suspension? I'm quite happy with my set up. It's just pot holes I have to watch out for. More chance of damage with 35 profile. Just wondering what benefits I'd have going to 40.

No not air, static on Solow Low and not even near fully wound down. I was going to go 255/35 but the brands are poor and it would make it less comfortable even though the shocks dictate most of the ride quality. These tyres are Bridgestone Potenza Sport and are so good.

You couldn't have LV body kit on your van then as you'd be scraping the front splitter.
