Idle noise which goes when accelerator is pressed

I believe it was the auto tensioner but I can’t remember 100% now sorry. I’d get that checked first. I temper being able to see the flappy belt through the wheel arch

Leaving it here in case someone else stumbles into this: I had the same symptom as in the video and in my case it was also the auto tensioner (and another part whose name I forgot). The parts are cheap and it will take a few hours to get it fixed, I'm currently waiting for an appointment.

It is. These were the parts they replaced:

• 532046810
• 04L145299B
• 6PK1555
• 535012410

Belt tensioner has been replaced so it isn't that.

That's an assumption, and we all know what theyre the mother of.

The all important check and measurement, you don’t need a special tool just a socket or something else the correct diameter.
Needless to say? with the engine stopped!
