From the shot of @Roberts Youtube video the failed pump was revision G and the new pump is revision K. I wonder what was modified assuming in two stages.

No idea, simple enough to access, engine timing would need to be checked.
There are single element and tandem element type pumps, depends on the engine code.
Put your registration number into an online site and see how much the part is, maybe autodoc or similar.
First job is to open up the pump and see if it is a failed spring.
