How would I do this?

They were not very helpful. They suggested that they could do it but the whole unit where the kitchen is an all in one unit so it would be expensive! I wont speak my thought!
Your thoughts probably mirror the many posts on this Forum, I really can’t see how they’re still in business,

Good question, yes there are so I guess I could undo the blocks and the MPPT Pro panel could be swivelled so I could assess what is happening behind it. Hope they have not been stingy with the wiring!
A job for another day later in the week maybe.
Easy job, be done in 5mins.

May as well put a lithium battery in while you are there.

So anybody reading this thread needs to partially discount the assumption of the battery location made by me in post#12 as the batteries are located via the large hatch near the tailgate.
To access the batteries more easily I took off the large cupboard door at the hinges and ground off/removed the hinge pin heads so access to the cupboard is easier. I can now just push out the hinge pins and the door comes off.

To access the batteries I just needed to remove two screws at right side and then the one cupboard block remove the pair of downward pointing screws and the batteries are then accessible after removing the small wooden cover/floor of the cupboard.
