Plasticy water taste

Had a night away this week and noticed that the water had a slightly plasticy taste. I have a 10litre tank under the sink which is stored empty and water is always drained out of the tap when not in use. I guess it needs a good clean so been looking at what to use - any recommendations or just go with Puriclean?

I use Puriclean before the season and again half way through. Drinking water is always bottled though, coffee machine and kettle we use the onboard containers with no complaints from either of us.

We store our 15L fresh and grey bottles dry and empty.

(Fitted under sink and removable)

And wash them out between trips with fresh water and drop a Milton tablet in there now and again.

There was a plasticy smell/taste at first, but that soon wore off.... We also take bottled fresh water, also smaller 1.5l bottles are easier to store that one big 10L large one.
