How did you get your cables from under seat to rear of van

Started doing my under seat build but I’m a little stuck. My 100ah battery is wider than the gap at the rear of seat. What’s the easiest way for me to get a load of cables out the seat to rear panel?

Many thanks

Up behind the plastics on the pillar is a hole that goes through to the void under the side window

Don’t forget to use some conduit to prevent the cables rubbing on the metal edges of the hole

That’s a useful photo - I forgot to take one like that when I did mine.

In that massive hole the seatbelt goes through, there are also two keyhole shaped slots that are for taking cables. There was an OEM cable in one hole (hanging down with a grommet in your photo) and I routed some more in the other slot.

You have to make sure the cables are secured away from the seatbelt.

Out of interest - why do you need 35mm2 cable from the battery to the rear panel - that’s very beefy for a 100Ah AGM battery

Hi. It’s going from battery to inverter at rear arch and I wished to have future options for lithium and to reduce the voltage drop as much as possible. I also used 25 mm from battery to battry and required bits in between and also used 25mm from battery to 12v fuse block. Managed to get it all working this morning so now I have the tedious task of putting all units back together
