Help to find loom plugs or part numbers please.

I am trying, unsuccessfully to find the 'sockets' that these plugs would fit into, to make up some connectors to the OEM loom.

I have 2 part numbers for the bits I have got, but cant find the parts I need.

600 972 704

These are the part numbers on these (I think either will do):

I found the 2 pin connector below on ebay that looks similar but wrong number of pins. Are yours interior light

If you are looking for an in line connector, what about looking for a different style of VW plug that uses the same connector type. Then simply swap over the connectors.

Also, does the part codes above give away the part numbering system?

Part numbers can be totally different for 2 halves I have found in the past. Also some connectors do not have a corresponding 1/2 as they plug into a piece of hardware with an moulded in connector.
Searching ebay for where they are used can sometimes throw some results up.

Thanks, the parts I showed in the photo plug into the OEM door speakers. I want to fit aftermarket, so need to make an extension loom.
