Help installing pioneer f88

Hi,

I have bought a pioneer a F88DAB. I have just come to install it tonight thinking it would be just plug and play and how wrong was I, I have a number of problems I shall start from the beginning.

Number one, the retaining brackets for the stereo does not fit the hole.
Number two, the connection on the back of the stereo is completely different from that on the T6
Number three, the stereo is smaller than the old units so there will be a big gap around it does anyone have any suggestions for a face plate of some description?

Can anyone advise what adapters I need to buy, or anyone that is located close to the Liverpool area that would be willing to do a professional job?

You need the ICE install superhero; some say his nipples are rotary bass controls, whilst his wires are never crossed. All we know is he's called @Absolut5 (we know him as Jason)!

@Absolut5 sorted me out, my pioneer needed a whole new harness and faceplate surround.

I know it's a pity there is 250 miles between us otherwise I would have been right in there. Want a large screen to fitting so may be worth a visit. What are the prices like?

They sorted me out by mail order and some phone calls whilst I was trying to fit it.

looks old hat, ebay yours, and buy whole kit from @Absolut5 , will deffo be plug n play then, and bigscreen like you are after..

USB dash retention kit, if you want to keep that one working
Interface for ignition, speed pulse, and mfsw, parking sensors if you have these features
