Does anyone use a heads up speed display that plugs in the OBD port and projects onto the windscreen
I am looking for one but most say not suitable for diesel.
Not sure why but I have been told it is to do with interference from the glow plugs ??
Also as I am already using the the existing OBD port for my dash cam what are your experiences with splitters

Hmmm.... for T6 any with a mention of OBD-II should work. They pick up the speed message using general CANbus protocol. Diesel/petrol is irrelevant here.

If your dash cam is only powered from the OBD port then you can split. But having two gadgets communicating through OBD port is a bit more challenging.

I don’t know what phone you have but I know that some of the iPhone speedo apps incorporate a HUD function.
No doubt applicable to Android too.

I use a schoche head up display I bought from halfords a couple of years ago, was about £40. Can't fault it and the added bonus is you can adjust the speed display to allow for bigger tyres as I have 235 65 r17 fitted
