Hard wiring ignition USB

Has anyone fitted one of these USB modules ?

The live wire can piggy back off a centre fuse but can I earth the black wire or will it have to be wired to a negative source?

Any where on the chassis or metalwork should be fine as long as it’s a good connection

I've read here somewhere that there is a good earth point under the passenger airbag switch cover.

There’s loads around the dash mate you shouldn’t have an issue finding some where to connect it

That's my plan too.

Don’t forget that if you use a permanent live feed, there will be a parasitic drain even if nothing is plugged into the USB socket.
