Yes, I had pulled out all the necessary bits. I was just being a lightweight pulling on the wrong bit. But I’ve done it. Thanks for the responses

So removing the bumper this aft and behind one arch liner was a plastic trim clip and on the other side was what looked like a rivet and a t25 screw.

Is it just a case of drilling it out? It looks very factory, not just a quick fix/bodge

You do not remove the torx screws. They hold in the clips for the bumper, but not the bumper itself
Number 16 is the torx screw and number 28 are the clips that you have to remove

It's the ribbon that attaches to the bottom of the windscreen for the heating elements.

If your heated screen is working correctly, then it's likely that your transporter has had a replacement windscreen at some point in its life.. And the fitter has dropped it when removing the glass.
