I did this today to swap our old beaten up door with a nice clean one shipped from Poland.
You will need to remove the door card, remove the carrier assembly and lock, including removing the loom if you are changing the door for another one. I guess you could remove the loom from the van side if you are not going to change the door, but I haven't checked that. The loom needs detaching one way or the other!
The door neatly hangs on a pin in each hinge so, unlike the sliding doors or barn doors, it supports itself even once the bolts are removed. You'll still be best off with a mate, as the risk of dinking the wing or door frame when removing the door is high.
Carefully remove the trim above the wing to reveal the top hinge.
Remove the stop block (that cuboid held in with a torx bolt) to allow the bottom hinge to open to the extra position on the check strap.
Open the door to the extra position to allow access to the lower hinge.
Undo the top bolt on both hinges. The bolts are different lengths so keep then separate ready to re-fit the door.
Then simply lift the door off the pins. You have to tilt the door towards you to get it past the lower hinge's check strap, so having someone else taking the weight is helpful.
Reverse the steps to re-fit the door.
