Grill badge replacement

Afternoon all
I’ve took the chrome badge off to replace with a black one. It looks as if I need to replace all parts not just backing plate. Any advice would be helpful

Oh dear. Looks like someone went nuts with that! Should just snap off easily with a trim tool. The bit that the badge clips into is a separate part but not sure if you can get to it without taking the grill off.

Thanks I shall order the parts just in case it get damaged getting it out. Can always return

THQ had a load of badges both bits at about half price lately

Assuming it’s a t6.1 I have one. Missing only the backing plate and badge. Where are you based?

Ok not too far then. If you need the parts don’t want much for it and be a lot cheaper than buying new VW prices that’s for sure - even just for the badge holder lol
