Difference Barn Door and Tailgate Rear VW Emblem

Does anyone know the difference between the Rear VW Emblem on the Tailgate models over Barn Door models

I want to purchase a Gloss Black Badge with Gloss Orange inlays - the only one I can find though is the Barn door version (VW T5/T6 (2003-2023) Rear Barn Door Badge Emblem - Van Trend) and this is listed as not compatible with Tailgate models. Other replacement badges for tailgate models show the same 13cm size as the Barn door ones but I am guessing there is a difference.

I know I can purchase vinyl inlays for the current Gloss Black badge I have but I can only find Matt Orange inlays (not Gloss orange). I fitted the Van Style Orange Edition grill trims and front Badge back plate to my van so want to match them as close as possible on the rear badge.

Maybe rattle can spray job just clear lacquer over the Matt orange? Just a thought. Be well.
