Time to bite the bullet and get the black dash parts ordered.
A visit to local dealer and the thing with my piece of plastic.... Job done!
Just the wait and the omg he's ripping the van to bits.

I think the numbers are correct, but please double check the list I have have no numbers the correspond with the drawing and the quote I have is for all the dash parts.

Vents need a bit cutting off the bottom this is easy to see if you hold new and old together ,they also have a piece of foam on the back ,you could remove it or trim a bit out of the dash .
Glove box is a bit more work ,the bottom is the bit that will need a bit of looking at .
Remember ,measure twice, cut once

Not for a while yet. Going to purchase all the parts including the lower section by the gearstick. Then strip it once.
