I tend to keep my central heating on 22c all the time.... 24/7.

Wow.
I feel the cold but both me and the wife are right with money so around November our thermostat gets pushed up to 18 degrees! Unless it’s bedtime then it’s back down to 16 because we’re under a quilt.

Rad in the front room is turned off completely for a month and a bit because we get the Christmas tree up 1st December and it sits against the radiator - don’t want it getting hot and dropping needles.

I also used to tinker with the flow temp on the condensing boiler to maximise efficiency (they aren’t set up the best out of the box) but now Tado have added that feature to their smart thermostat system… which is nice.

If I want to warm up I go and talk to the neighbours- they always set theirs at 21 degrees!

Whilst the Bus is sat on the drive, I use 1 of these, on a low setting 24/7, just to keep the chills off.

Open all the drawers/ cupboards etc.
Our camper is kept fully stocked with a mattress / quilt / sleeping bag / pillows / rugs - so this 500w oil filled rad, does the trick.
Never had any issues with frozen taps / bottles / pipes.
Don't know what it costs to run, but it deffo keeps damp at bay

Yup we do. Just to keep the van aired & condensation free. We use a Screwfix 700w oil filled radiator set on frost stat. Leave all the thermal blinds in & all cupboard doors open.

In the past I have used either one of two low wattage blowers.

ProBreeze 500W ceramic thermostatic blower.

ProBreeze 2000W ceramic thermostatic twisting blower

The first one is quite adequate.

I like blowers because they disperse the heat. Put the blower one end of the vehicle and it disperses the heat quickly around the interior. Just ensure that their is space and safety of placement. The blowers that oscillate can be locked out usually, if it is felt more secure that way. I can not recall where I bought mine but probably at Aldi or Lidle a couple or more years ago. The larger 2kw one is great if you forgot the night before and just need to quickly do the business.

Yes I have a pro breeze I have my new t6 conversion on the drive the heater is on low just to keep the frost of any pipes it’s running all the time at the minute just going of and on I hope it’s not too expensive
