Gearbox/engine Whine

Hi. I'm pretty new to the forum, so hello.
I have had a brand new T6 204ps with DSG converted and I'm concerned about, what sounds like, gearbox whine in 4th, 5th and 6th. It sounds like a wheel bearing sort of noise. Anybody else get this? Should it be something for VW to take a look at, or am I worrying unnecessarily? It's been there since I picked the van up. Your opinions would be appreciated.

I`ve noticed the same on mine just this week. Mines a manual, and sounds similar to a wheel bearing sort of whine.
I've only noticed it since I more or less emptied the van out. Maybe a bit of axle whine ?

After talking to VW, they have suggested that it's roadnoise from the tyres and doing a quick Google search on Sunny tyres, I found they are cheap and of hard compound. They suffer badly with roadnoise. I'll know better when it comes the time to change them. In the meantime, I'll turn up the volume on my radio!
