Gas Cap

Hey All, I have taken my grill out to make a little more storage space but can't seem to find a cap for the gas pipe. Rather than take it all out I have locked the main tap to this feed and want to put a cap on it. Does anyone know where I can find a brass cap for a 10mm connector?

I've searched online and still cant find one. Stands to reason if there is a joint there must be a cap for it!? or am i being too literal?

Ah. So I have to remove the connector that's there and have another fitted to cap it off.
What a faff. Was hoping there would be a cap for that connector.
You can tell I'm not a gas fitter.

30 sec’s at the most

Was aiming for 10seconds and no tools other than a little sealing chord stuff... ;)

You’ll be able to get a female cap for that
At a guess it’ll be 3/8 or 1/4
But yes taking it off and putting a 10mm blank on would be just as easy

Thanks all. Let's see what I can find, which to date has been very little. I'm not planning to buy a soldering kit just for this.

have a look on the nut it may have the size of fitting in mm then take off the elbow and fit a plug in the nut left on the pipe as DXX said

Once you have it capped open up the cylinder and check it is gas tight with some soapy water.
