I was between towns in Scotland during a long drive home and thought i should be ok to the next one for fuel, Range went to Zero, miles to town = 10, did i make it ?
Coasting downhills etc, on and off the accelerator etc, Head pointed over steering wheel for less friction (ha ha)..
How far have you got in yours, mine = T6, T28 fully loaded, awning, bbq, logs, coals, water etc.

My T6, 2016, T28 is always fully loaded, never tried to "run out of fuel", cant see to point of all the stress involved. We bought the camper to relax, but each to their own. I have not got enough hair left to keep pulling it out.......... We go away 3/4 months at a time being retired makes it easy.

Edited: to make it clearer as to what I want to say

Another fun game is draining the oil out of the sump then seeing if you can make it to Halfords, for fresh oil, before it seizes up.

I'll say yes you made it, quite comfortably in fact, but, as others have questioned, why put yourself in that situation?

series of events, rush to get back circumstances, quick packnup etc- not ideal but i get your point. Sure i am not the 1st to gamble on stopping at the next station..

I've done a good 30 miles on a motorway before running out.

I once ran a moped out of fuel 40 years ago out in the the sticks , in the dark.
I said I'm much cleverer than that , that's not gonna catch me out again ,,, and it hasn't.
Its just really is much more chew than its worth

35 miles. I'd just got the van and wasn't sure I'd got the 80 litre tank I'd paid for, so I pushed it, on a route home from Preston where I knew there were several fuel stations if needed. Yes , I have a 80 litre tank.

Edited my post so it reads clearer. I not knocking you in any way as I stated "cant see to point of all the stress involved" At the end of the day you made it safely so well done.
thing is i alwats carried a 5 litre sparecan but it got removed during a deep dpring clean and as usual the time you need it and uts not there..no worries bud.
