Full-size 17” spare wheel…

im pretty sure i used a 215 60 17 tyre on my spare wheel and it went straight on with original bolts..
its only a spare so that size is perfect..

I guess the bolts are standard M12 thread? If so I’ll be able to find some at work to tie me over until the new security ones arrive

i bought the wheel carrier from here but they’ve gone up quite a lot in price.

Will it fit as a spare? Depends on the current tyre size you run on the 18s.
If the van is a 4motion then I hear matching rolling radius is v important or can damage the 4wd system.

in case it helps anyone trying to lift the spare carrier back up and onto the bolts (and sorry if it's been mentioned already)
you'll see that the two plates of steel at the back of the carrier (by the securing bolts) make a kind of hole.
that's designed to take one end of the Wheel Brace as a handle in order to get max leverage and lift the carrier with the wheel in it.
I learned this way too late but it may help someone else.
