Fuel line advice

I can't answer the question, but don't all the t6.1 models have the heater take off already on the tank sender unit?? You just snipp the end off and push on a quick release fuel connection

I have posted on this several times - they don't understand how our fuel system works! Eberspacher themselves say, incorrectly, that you can use it! Webasto tell you how to connect in the Air Top 2000STC instructions for the T5 and T6.
Adblue has no relevance - I have not found out why they bring that into the equation.

Edit: as above - most 6.1s have the fuel take off for heaters ( but some have been found to not have it ).

Thank you! @oldiebut goodie I have read some of your posts but Just wanted to be sure.

That’s very negligent of Eberspacher!!

I am connecting a Truma D6e.

I’ve not yet had time to look at the tank. Im guessing the fuel off take is on the top?

Does the tank need to be lowered or fully removed?

Truma came with diesel pipe and pump. I also got a mount to make sure the pump is mounted at the correct angle 15-35 degree.

does the fuel take off have a sender stand pipe already installed?

What is required to connect to the heater take off?

Most of what you need is in this thread T6.1 diesel heater install
Do you have an oem coolant heater already? If you have that would simplify things. If not you will have to lower the tank at the rear to access the tank pump unit top.
If you have the 3rd nipple the pipe is part of the tank pump - the possible pick-up is the pick-up ( pic is from when first looked into):
