Front suspension lift with coil strut spacer?

Having just fixed my rear-heavy T6 campervan with new rear springs, I want to lift the front just 15-20mm without changing the front springs. I can find a "coil strut spacer" fix for just about any vehicle I can think of, but can find NOTHING on Google for the VW T6. Does anyone know of a supplier? Or can tell me I'm searching for the wrong words? Or can suggest dimensions so I can make something up from scratch? Thanks, Tim.

The solution was eventually found. Watfields.com, a.k.a. PCDparts.com (it's hard to tell - paid to one, sent by the other) - "VW T5 T5.1 T6 Lift Kit Suspension 25mm Swamper 2WD 4Motion Off Road Transporter" - cost me 50 pounds post to Australia but arrived in 5 days, no customs duty. Big aluminium discs, beautifully machined, fitted OK today, and front now lifted 20mm and van is nicely level once more :)

Did you fit the small threaded spacer to the top of the strut as well , this gives the shock a little more travel in rebound as the spacer alone will reduce the rebound if not used ??

Hi. Yes, the threaded spacer/nut was fitted though I wasn't there to see the exact process. I have attached the "instructions" sheets that came with the kit in case that helps.
Supposedly, the top of the shock centre bolt came out about flush with the top nut, rather than sticking well proud of it when tightened up.
Front wheel alignment was done though very little change was needed, may have been unnecessary until the next routine check.TP20210705003_VW_front_spacers_25mm.jpgTP20210705002_VW_front_spacers_25mm.jpg

Hi Tim,
I live up on the sunshine coast in OZ and am also thinking of lifting my T6 with these spacers, are you happy with them? do you have any pictures?

Does the spacer nut have a female chamfer to seat on the damper rod chamfer?
If it doesn’t and just has a flat face I would think it’s going to stress the damper rod thread root at the bottom of the spacer nut.

Hi Darren - the spacer nut pic you already have. I am happy with the overall upgrade - rear with new springs is a little harsher than before but height is great; Front - I have not noticed any problem with the 25mm lift, have maybe bottomed-out the suspension just oncer in a bad pothole, no residual issues there.
Here is another pic of the spacers I got from the UK, and the setup diagram from someone else's website. I hope that helps.
PS Another forum user found the "Rear" 25mm spacers on EBay for less than what I paid, but gave me something for them. You might find the front spacers on EBay without having to buy the front/rear combination - good luck!

PS to the next responder DXX - yes the spacer nuts seem to have male/female chamfers/tapers and haven't been a problem yet.
Regards, Tim.
