Wanted Front badge in Black

Hey fellow Dubbers, I wondered if anyone had a front T6 badge in black they no longer require?

I spent almost all weekend preparing and spraying my front badge and despite several efforts (on an enclosed space with heat), the paint ended up like chalk and literally peeled away.

Can anyone help? Did I mention I’m in a mega-tight budget? ;0)

i used plastic primer, this is gonna sound stupid, but would primer for plastic not work? This is a huuuuge learning curve for me and I am enjoying the journey so far!

I'm no painter but did you key the plastic first? Rough it up with a bit of very fine sandpaper (I'm gonna get killed for my lack of knowledge ). Give the primer something to stick to.

I painted my front badge black. Make it dull with very fine sandpaper - every single nook and cranny, rinse well with water and let dry, clean it very well with rubbing alcohol, then Halfords primer for plastic, two coats of colour and two lacquer. Has been solid.

You might have a duff batch of paint - it does happen.
