Folding Mirror issue on my Transporter

Hello, I’m hoping someone can help, I’m new on here. I have a 2024 T6.1 150bhp highline kombi. When I lock the doors and hold the lock button in on the key, only the drivers side mirror folds. On the manual fold button inside the cab, again only the drivers side folds. The drivers side is also very slow to unfold too. Any threads you can point me in the direction of or any advice please?

I wouldn't bother trying to sort yourself...warranty will sort it.

Has it always been like this, or only just happened recently?
Also check your windows works correctly (especially with the one touch:

I only bought it last Saturday so couldn’t honestly say. I discovered it after a 250 mile drive home.

Also, should the mirror unfold when opening the van via the key? The drivers side only unfolds after 10 seconds or so when you put the ignition on.

I’m wondering if it would be covered by VW warranty as it is is only 16 months old?

Also in a 24 plate Highline Kombi, no my mirrors don't unfold on unlock.

The electric windows work fine (forgot to mention that in my last post). Just been to my local VW commercial van centre and this issue will be covered by warranty. So I’ll get it booked in, in the next few weeks and I will post on here what the outcome/fix is. They said today that it was very strange.

So I took the van to VW. After carrying out checks it turns out that the near side wing mirror is not the original and the replacement is not motorised as it should be! Total cost from VW is £1240 inc labour and the labour for diagnosis. I called the dealer that I bought van from and thankfully they have (without dispute) paid the bill with VW to have an original mirror fitted.

Was about to comment saying I bet it's been replaced at some point. Lucky the selling dealer has done the right thing!
