Fogstar app says its Charging...

My fogstar app says my battery is charging when it shouldn't be.

Engine not running ket not in IGN. Everything is turned on in habitation lounge. Both charging and discharging apparently. Should I be worried?

Renogy app says not charging. So am assuming am worrying about nothin

Does that tell you it’s charging or that charging is allowed ?

That’s discharging. Positive amps is charging.

If you mean the toggles at the bottom they are switches to turn either charging or discharging off/on. I personally don’t use them as seen lots of people having issues on the Fogstar Facebook group.

I use fogstar and have one in my own van that's definitely discharging

The endurance box with the time will change to say charging when its actually charging (and show how long it will take at the current input rate).

And as others say the amps value will turn positive and the circle indicator will be light blue when charging.

This is the function switches,

That allow charge or discharge.

Is it's too cold the charge with disable and the charge switch will flip off...... Or you can manually toggle the discharge off.

But don't touch them.... Leave well alone.

All is fine.

There is a new Fogstar app in beta testing at the moment. It’s available via TestPilot on a iPhone and also on Android (what ever that is!). It has better security features and also handles multiple batteries better.
