Renogy app and Fogstar battery

Morning.
I don't know if it's possible but currently I cannot see the state of my Bluetooth enabled Fogstar battery in the Renogy app.
Would connecting a Renogy shunt allow me too? It would be handy to have everything under one roof.

You need to use the fogstar app for the battery.

Or

As you say, add in a renogy shunt and use thAt to get the separate battery data into the Renogy app.
