Fitting Fiamma f45 to Vamoose multi rail

For some pics poss your rough mock up?

Could the brackets need trimmed back a bit?.. and still have a good fixing to the body work?
Thanks very much for your reply @Dellmassive. I didn’t actually take any photos but will try get some. I don’t think the brackets can be trimmed at all as the screw holes are already fairly close to the edge anyway but a good suggestion.

My F45s is fitted to a Vamoose rail, the poptop sits over the edge of the brackets with the rubbery edging of the poptop not having an issue, no leaks, no worries.
Always happy to get the steps out to take Arial photos when its raining for a new member!
Welcome to the forum @ThePureGreyOne good to have you!
Don't forget we do like photos of your van! Kind of like a proof of ownership thing!

Thanks so much for these photos. Looks like the same brackets as I have although I think my roof sits a bit closer to the vamoose rail so may overhang the bracket a bit more but it’ll be worth measuring it out again. I’m hoping that the rubber trim on the edge of roof will sit nicely over them but the rubber already seems to be quite compressed when the roof is down not leaving much room. Also thanks for the warm welcome, will definitely get some photos up here.

The rubber trim on mine sits right on top of the rear two plastic capped bolts (on both front and rear brackets). If my roof was slightly wider the roof would sit perfectly between the two pairs of bolts. Yours might be the perfect size! Post a picture of your Vamoose to poptop gap.

It might be a silly question but could I ask what actually takes the load with these brackets (ie. van or rail)? I ask because I've got a Reimo Multirail (with a Westdubs poptop) and I don't think I'd want to rely on that to hold all the weight (there's another thread on here about awning rails coming loose which is what prompts me to ask).

Four rivnutted bolts on front and the back brackets, and also bolted to the Vamoose. The van takes the strain, I wouldn't want that weight just on the rail! Quite secure the way it's been done.
