Fitting diy single seat rear

Hi i have my new t6 panel van. I want to fit just a single seat in the back.

How difficult is tjis to fit myself??

Any tips or dos or donts?

I assumed i could only fit the original t6 seat was gonna source off ebay

I believe there are a few varying options available... OEM kombi seats, caravelle rail n seat, RIB seats, single bed seats, benches.. etc

Oh i meant to say im just gonna fit the single kombi oem seat.

From what I am lead to believe you'll need the brackets and fittings for the floor base, then from there the holes that are required are marked on the underside of the floor pan? but Colin @VWVC will be able to direct you the best.

And make sure you get a single seat that has the integrated seat belt otherwise you won't be able to buckle up!

@Garethwatford, if you are in the Beds & Luton region, then Colin at @VWVC is based in Witney Oxfordshire, easily accessible off the A34 and A40, so poss a 1.5 hour journey for you across Milton Keynes. He is certified by VW to install seating systems and will give you a certificate of installation for your insurance company should you need it. A number of people I know on here have had work done by him including @Fish, @andythom188, @ZipcodeUK.
