I would suggest you have as both the ones I've installed have fitted like a glove, no trimming required at all!

Fire it back to FitCamX - their after sales support is pretty good!

Yeah the gaps in the top bit are so you can trim it back. Had to trim mine too.

One more question on the camera. I get a blue square at the top left when viewing the feed through the app. Is this expected?

It turns out the blue square is showing because the rear camera is not connected, which is a bit crap but makes sense.

I don't have the rear camera fitted and mine doesn't do this.....

Same on both cars I have fitted these to.

I too have fitted to 3 cars, again no rear cameras and no blue square.

Fitted mine now with the correct housing to the rain sensor using there splitter loom. However I now have a message “automatic headlamp fault” Indeed the auto headlamp function has stopped working. I have unplugged the camera and the auto headlamp works again. I’m thinking a hard wire would be a better plan. Has anyone used their hardwire kit? Where is the closest switched live?

I never found why I had the error. So ran to a switched live to the fuse box to the right of the steering wheel I fitted a 1 amp inline fuse. All good
