A very good morning T6Forum - I’m in need of some wisdom please regarding styling my 2017 T6 (T32) Highline. I’ve finally (after saving some cash) got around to styling my van. It’s a long list of bits that I need. However there are a couple of areas that I could do with some advice on.
1. WING MIRRORS
About 6 months back somebody nicked the cover of a my passenger side wing mirror (presumably my colour matched their van) - however I wanted to know IF I can replace my standard wing mirrors with electric wing mirrors? Is this just a case of buying a set and plugging them in OR is this a very expensive retrofit option that is just not worth it?
2. REAR TAIL GATE
The van has been lined in gray felt - but after heavy rain - when I open the rear tail gate I find on occasion that the water drips from the bottom of the door, coming through the felt? I was thinking about changing the felt and maybe trying to add the California style folding chairs (are there aftermarket product) does anybody have any suggestions/is this an option??
3. ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM
The music system that came with the van had basically died - the touch screen no longer likes to be touched and I’m effectively locked to Radio 4 & Absolute Country. Which whilst I’m find I’m sure the nippers would like a bit wider options - I was thinking of getting a Kenwood DMX - does anybody use this system??
4. STYLING
The wheels (diamond cut) are in a shocking state - so looking to get those reconditioned in black with black sports line bars etc. However I am also need to change the grill at front as it was painted gloss and started to badly flake. In changing the front grills is it possible v cost - to add aftermarket parking sensors??
