not sure where i'm going on here
but need some help with issue with my
T6 2017 highline auto

Please give us a few more clues as to the fan and stop start issues you are having. It is likely quite normal.

The fan runs weather hot or cold stays on
goes off briefly but then just kicks in again
the start stop just comes up as eating on start up but if i drive with it sometimes goes into limp mode
so always have to turn it off
no over heating issues
lost slight bit of coolant but no sign of leak
prob another issue

Hello everyone, I have a T6. 1 with the engine running, the engine cooling fan is constantly running, the question is: is this just me or is it also so with you. And another question sometimes the fan starts working at full speed and there is a pungent smell from the car, this continues for some time even if you turn off the engine.

yes similar to my issue
but no smell just can't seem to find issue why fan just keep coming on straight away from start up cold
wiring prob in loom is something someone said very annoying

After around 700 miles of mainly motorway driving last week, I got a CEL. Also noticed that the radiator fans were running constantly. That was when I arrived home after a long drive, not stuck in traffic. Same next morning from cold, CEL and fans running constantly. Van still ran well, it did take ages to warm up next day though.




VCDS gave me this;



Engine ECU showing this;



Then when a bit more warmed up.



Then completely lost the plot!




Looks like the G83 sensor on the radiator hose has failed. I think we can rule...

Ideally a full scan and engine block map file from VCDS would really help.

Please verify what ECU reports
VCDS > Engine > Advanced Measurement Values

IDE07832 Coolant fan 1: activation - shows 10% when radiator fan is OFF.​

But i think if its possible to be some sensor or something telling fan that car is overheating and he works always in high speed?

Highly unlikely - you would get another fault of the sensor. Also the fan is driven by ECU (no external relays). ECU uses several sensors to make the decision to run the fan.
