Fake Rear Quarter Windows - Trim Question

Do I remove the trim from the MIDDLE WINDOW before I fit a fake REAR window which will have the trim fitted? Will one trim cover the gap?

Would the existing trim interfere with the new window glass? The new rubber trim on the inside edge of the front of the rear most glass is touched by the glass on the door on mine, and you can't see the paint colour underneath.

Sliding door side... There is a bit of a gap but that's probably because I didn't fit the window on the door and I was focused on getting the gap at the back edge of the rear window right in its position.

I haven't yet received the glass yet so I can't try the glass on to the van and I don't have the EXACT measurements of the glass. I have had a look and I see what you mean.
I suppose I shall have to wait for the package! Just trying to get organised! I have just e mailed CAMPER GLASS for advice. Thanks for your reply.

I have now received the windows and fitted one. It was not so heavy as I thought it would be so managed it on my own! I stuck a strip of GORRILLA TAPE on the end of the panel as well as using the rubber trim provided and it fitted well.IMG_20230627_180010.jpgIMG_20230627_180053.jpgIMG_20230627_175928.jpgIMG_20230627_180121.jpg

I like the idea of fitting the strip of black vinyl behind the offside windows. Mine came with a gap there between the fake rear and middle window and although I bought the rubber to hide it it’s impossible to fit after the event (for me at least). The vinyl could be possible!

Anyway, I guess the key is to consider what you want to do with the gap before fitment on the non sliding door side.

Thanks for your reply. I am happy with the result and it certainly makes the vehicle look a lot better! I must now stop worshipping it!!!
