Extra row of seat in a Kombi

Has anyone put a extra row of seats in a Kombi ? If so could you advise be on type of seat that will fit ,do you need to tell the DVLA and did it put up the insurance. I would only use them a few times a year so don't need to match originals.

It's easily done, just use a proper firm and it's easily insured.

Thanks for the reply. Hoping to get the van next week so I could have a few more question. On test drive I did find the tyres noisey but that could be down to the fuel saving design of them .i have had lots of vans over the years but this is the first vw so looking forward to it.
