Engineers Report for Valuation

Hi

Does anyone have any advice on a good/ reputable company for completing insurance valuations and engineers reports on converted campervans?

I'm trying to insure with another provider, but finding options are limited until I get an independent valuation/report.

Any views or experiences very welcome.

I’ve insured my campervan with NFU and Brentacre in the past and haven’t been asked for an independent valuation.
I think the market at the moment is driven by availability, disposable income and emotion. Not much logic, good if you‘re selling.

That’s odd, I’ve insured with them two years running and never been asked.
Is it a self build or a professional conversion? I know that the first year they wanted to know the converters and conversion type details.

I`ve never come across the need for a valuation. Each time (twice, as a newly converted panel van) I`ve itemised the modifications to it and advised them of what I judge the value to be.

They got back to me after a few hours and said it was an approved conversion.
