Looking through the forum it seems a very common fault. Following intermittent engine management light coming on our van was booked in to the local VW garage. Dropped it at the dealer who after a fault diagnostic confirmed it as an EGR issue. Advised me not to drive it and put me in a courtesy car overnight (all good). Picked the van up 24hr later and informed they had ‘flushed it’ and now all ok. The chap on the service desk said they had done loads of T6’s (plus a couple of caddys). Its a recognised VW fault on T6s. Dealer informed me none of the previous vans had been back since the same fix. Lets hope so. The light is still off after the 30 mile trip home from the dealer. Fingers crossed...
