Easy open tailgate retrofit

I haven't seen this on forum yet but I'm pissed off each time I have to open my tailgate when I have no hands available. So my idea is to do pimp my T6 with trunk easy open function. I went budget route, not to use any VE compatible parts so far, will just use universal kick sensor from china (Universal Car Foot Pedal Sensor Trunk Boot Kick Sensor Electric Tailgate Kick Switch For Car Trunk Opening Sensor - AliExpress 34). It require 3 wires to work, so before I start maybe someone will be able to help:

1. where to find the easies 12V after car is unlocked (I have electric tailgate, probably there)
2. has anyone idea where is the tailgate button wire exactly? I think it's going to the roof in the main wiring but not sure what colour it will be and how easily determine it

I don't want to put wires from bumper to tailgate lock, I would like to connect somewhere on D-pillar level. If anyone sees sth which may not work/may be not so easy as it sounds, any help appreciated I'm still waiting for other part which will require bumper removal so won't start so fast.

How would you unlock the van with no hands free?

I knew that someone will ask In general - always will have to unlock the van, but can do this earlier. The main problem I have is that I have option to unlock from key fob, but sometimes it does not work properly, i.e. when someone already stays there (i.e. my kid). I have 3 scenarios in my head when it will be helpful:
- car unlocked but cannot open tailgate due to parking sensors telling there is no space (someone standing behind, car parked in narrow space but still enough to open, etc). In this scenario I have to use handle still which is not nice (dancing with sth heavy to use handle, then step back to make a space for tailgate)
- I have my kid with me who can unlock the car once I have my hands busy, then I can use leg to open trunk
- this should also work to close lid, as my youger kids have to jump to close lid, they could use feet

and I know. I'm freak.
