Dsg gearbox compatibility

Hey Irish, when I put a 2017 T6 California 4mo dsg drivetrain into my T5.1 dsg (fwd) ... quite a few said it'll never work .... lol
What I actually checked was the additional information via VCDS, component level info.
All I found when jumping from a 2wd DSG up to 4motion DSG was like library component codes, .rod coding, and found I was all good just 4mo DSG box had later revisions etc ... see my scan on my box here .....

I had the shite driveshaft issue, 4motion drivetrain seems with it's design alot better quality.
I checked the stuff above not the actual gearbox code, although it was there, seemed not an issue, if it's out a T6 go for it, but be aware of any DMF changes prior to refit .. lol
