Driving With Diesel Heater on?

Hi All, Apologies if this has been asked / answered - couldn't find a specific thread.

I have recently bought a converted T6.1 which has an Autoterm heater. Can this be used when driving to get some heat to the rear passengers as it takes a while for the engine heat to get the chill off?

I always try and start my Autoterm heater when the engine is running and charging the leisure battery to minimise drain on said battery.

Very good points above for the DIY Installs.

Making sure that the combustion air inlet and exhaust faces rearwards and slightly downwards.

To stop forced air from driving forward and water ingress, even if the pipes are above the sheilds.
