Door handle pulls too far..

any ideas? It pulls all way out and clicks and comes further again, doesn't stick out it goes back in as normal. Drivers door.

Had the same problem with mine, except mine equally stopped releasing the door catch. It turned out that the internal part of the door handle had been fitted upside down.

yep it needs adjusting, its a 5 min job that any bodyshop or descent vw specialist can do. the mechanism adjustment is pretty standard across the entire vag group. only required the right size torx key

watch this!

process is exactly the same on T6 (with or without key) if you fancy tackling it yourself.

Hi All
Is there a working video for this, my T6 on the front drivers and passengers is getting worse. I've taken the van to VW and they said a body shop would need to replace the handle/ mechanisms. if this is true would anyone know the part number as searching around for 'VW t6 front door handle mechanism' isnt being very helpful.
