Dog barrier for under van

So I have two wire haired dachshunds that will return from walks and stay in the awning. Whilst we chill in the van …. What I need is something to block the underside of the van between the front and back wheel so they don’t wander off. I’m thinking something like an inflatable sausage ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Anyone overcome this already?

Sprat or herring netting - light and you can keep it in your door pocket. That is what I would use anyway as I tend to have ripped bits lying around.
