Hi everyone, I'm currently working on a T6.1 i've bought recently, it was converted by a company that have apparently gone bust - they installed aftermarket wheels removing the TPMS system (no valves in place and seems to be coded out) I have access to VCDS but I'm lost in how to re-activate - is there anyone that could assist, many thanks

Are you sure the van ha it in the first place?

Agree,
my T6.1 Kombi (might be what you call Shuttle in UK, has 9 seats) has not any "real" TPMS (i.e. pressure sensors). It has "passive" TPMS , that uses the ABS sensors to detect a tyre failure. I
That can be coded in and out, there are pecific threads about that in this forum.

So, indirect/passive TPMS can be coded to any Transporter T6/T6.1? whereas direct TPMS needs valves and a receiver?
This is my understanding for the T6.1.

It looks like ( I am in EU) that in the UK some T6.1 vans came with TPMS deactivated while Shuttle/Combis (i.e. M1) came with it active.

I have done a guide on indirect TPMS activation for 6.1
