T32 winter tyres

I’m after any recommendations for a set of winter tyres for a T32 van, load rating 103 and above, to fit a 17 inch rim, I’m after a full winter tyre, not all terrain or all season, for a 4000 mile artic trip in February, I don’t want to stop,fit/remove, studs or chains if possible, so happy to pay for dedicated winter tyres, I’m not too bothered about fresh deep snow, but want to keep on the road when it’s hard or ice
The van is a manual 4 motion T32
Thanks

Can't help with specifics but when we've been skiing in Sweden, Nokians seem to be the goto tyres in those latitudes. Very unnerving being overtaken by a volvo at 60mph on sheet ice.

I imagine you may have seen this already?
The overall rating is based on
50% wet weather performance
20% dry performance
20% snow performance
10% other

This may not fit your requirements.
I’d suggest google searching for Swedish winter tyre reviews. You probably want ‘Nordic’ winter tyres rather than ‘mittelEuropa’ winter tyres

Far too much choice in 235/55 R17 103 - I can understand why you want recommendations

From my searches, it’s the 103+ load rating that isn’t available in lots of winter tyres the tyre I have found is a continental van contact winter tyre,
I want to order some before full on winter arrives when supply and delivery becomes more difficult
And it’s trying to find tyres that could be ordered from the uk, although my google searches atm are a bit off’ as I’m currently in Ireland.

As @Sim60 alludes, there are different grades of winter tyres. The ones we're used to are Middle Europe Alpine tyres. These are designed for snow/slush/wet conditions down to around -15C. The Nordic tyres are designed for compacted snow & ice down to around -30C. Chose wisely Padowan.

I have Goodyear Ultragrip winter tyres on the 17” Devonports on my T32 van. There were among the highest ranked in that years test when I bought them and had a better looking tread pattern for snow. However, they have still struggled on occasion. Mind you, my van is not 4motion…

You can fit studded tyres in Scandinavia, not cheap but if you want to cover the distance at speed probably the only safe way.
When I worked in Norway I was impressed with them, it takes time to trust them but they do the job, even on sheet ice.
Different countries have different times of the year that you can use them (specific dates), they destroy the road surface and create dust in cities.
