Diesel Knock - Driving me insane! HELP!

it sounds like the cams are knocking their tits out , the fuelling sounds out ,there is sooooo much clatter , it sounds like a mechanical injection pump engine as opposed to direct injection.

Are you sure you don’t have an exhaust leak at the manifold? I hear what sounds like noisy hydraulic valve followers and a possible exhaust leak. Oddly I can’t hear the turbochargers at all?
Oddly I had read that somewhere, i've been under and there is no physical signs of an exhaust leak around the manifold or the DPF connection.

Sorry mate didn't see this comment! Any idea what I'm looking for on VCDS for this?
@mmi is the expert in blockmaps but maybe :

These were values from my van at idle, but you would need to gragh it while you rev the engine an get the knocking.
Probably also worth graphing fuel rail pressure engine revs etc at the same time

Injectors need coding. If this is not done they engine will not run right and be louder. I had this on my 5 series after replacing the engine. as soon as i coded the injectors it was quiet as a mouse.

I have replaced the CFCA in my california and coded the injectors straight away
