Fault code P2008

T6 LWB 2.0 TDI Diesel 2019.
Fault card P2008 intake manifold runner control circuit open bank 1. Hi all, this is my latest fault code. Been ongoing faults and work done so far, injectors replaced, DPF replaced, EGR replaced, new intercooler, new alternator most recent.
My engine management light is on all the time but no loss of power.
Can anyone give me any ideas about what to try next.

Has it occurred straight after work being done?.

Is the loom plugged in?

Hi yes it started after the alternator was changed I think

Might be a loose plug...


You can use live data on a scan tool to see if there is any reading at all.

Worth checking the vacuum solenoid is connected that is located on the side of the fuel filter housing.

Thanks very much Phil, just been out to check and seen a loose connection, I fixed that and the light is off so all good for now. Saved me a lot of time too Merry Christmas
