Hi. What do people take on this? ebay link (www.ebay.co.uk/itm/187069413170)

Is it meant for the diesel return line, so that line is not pressurized? Does the return line go to the bottom of the tank, can I empty it on a cold night?

My intention is to fit a proper fuel pick-up line, but I'll be fitting the heater on the drive, so I'm going to wait until I have a suitable way of dropping the tank. So, looking at this as mainly a stop-gap until I can drop the tank.

Cheers.

Due to the paucity of relevant information eg model of vehicle/heater etc.

No, that tee will work without emptying the tank.
A tee with the required outlets is available - 8mm clip, 8mm spigot with a 4mm barbed spigot for the heater.

No need to drop the tank if you have the spare nipple integrated in the vehicle fuel sender/pump unit.
All this has been covered ad nauseum in posts - search is your friend.

Surely you have to drop the tank to get to the nipple ...
