I run quadlock cases and holders, charges via magsafe (obv a wire up to the holder) but quick and easy. not cheap but worth it imo

Another Quadlock user here, combined with a Brodit mount. I did find that with the Quadlock magsafe charger, the USB-C output did not produce enough power to charge the phone, however it is fine connected directly to the phone.

I've got the quadlock vent mount and it's bloody brilliant. They're expensive but perfect for what you want. Mine is solid

I now use this stick on mount after having the window mount.. you've brave to use a quadlock case to use these mount or a stick on quad mount..

Ran cable through side and under dash - then plugged in to 12v lighter socket which I pulled out and re-plugged in underneath dash

I'm looking for the same. Would like a 'location' for the phone to sit whilst driving. It needs to be plugged in for Android Auto & charging but i don't need the screen. Just want a better location than the passenger seat or wedged in the cup holder by the socket.

Another Quadlock user here. I also have a Scanstrut system with a sucker on the rear quarter when in the back and a roof mount for the little ones on longer journeys. Hold a tablet or phone.

I use Peak design.

I use one that works with any case, but the do cases that clip to mounts.

IMHO has a better design and mounting system (nicer cases) than Quadlock.

In case this helps anyone.

I bought a generic chicom MagSafe phone charger for my van. It’s magnetic and charges the phone when it’s connected. I had it on my T5.1, clipped onto a vent, but it wasn’t overly secure.

I saw a suggestion on here for this location- so thanks. I didn’t want any visible holes, which was my main specification.

I’ve posted these pics to assist others.

I made this. No special case needed on the iPhone due to the inbuilt mag mount.

I’d like Van-X or someone like that to make a replacement for the T6 cup holder that accepts an iPhone in a case, as my 16 Pro with QuadLock case doesn’t wedge there anymore
